What MailVault does with your mail

Collect it from the server, bring in older stores, prove that nothing changed, keep the retention periods, find it again and hand it over. One page per task, each saying what the software does and what it does not.

What MailVault is not

  • Not a mail client. Writing and replying still happen in Outlook, Apple Mail or the browser. MailVault keeps.
  • Not a cloud service. The archive is a folder on your Mac, and your mail never reaches a server of ours.
  • Not a backup. The archive needs a backup of its own, ideally in a second place. MailVault records that place and names it in every check.
  • Not Windows software. MailVault runs on the Mac. A portable export can be read anywhere.

Try it on your own mailboxes.

Thirty days with everything open, no sign-up. Or we set up the first archive with you.
